Here in the States we tailgate and socialize with fans of other teams, including arch-rivals in a "mostly" civilized manner. Most of that can be attributed to the fact that our teams are constantly evolving and gravitating to the best players without regard to religion, nationality, locality or political bent. The Old Firm rivalry, while definitely spellbinding and fascinating to behold, reaffirms that there is no hatred more intense or blazing hot than sectarian hatred.
