In the sanctuary city of San Francisco, an illegal alien named Francisco Sanchez who had been deported five times has been charged with the killing of 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle. Sanchez told local media he chose San Francisco because the city serves as a sanctuary to people in the country illegally.
Proponents of sanctuary for illegals are saying those policies didn't contribute to this murder, and that it's an outlier. As Michelle Malkin points out, that's far from the case, and she named many more #VictimsOfDeadlySanctuaryPolicies:

An officer pulls his gun on teenagers who were at an out-of-control pool party in McKinney, Texas. The incident was caught on tape.
