THE NARRATIVE AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS

Threats to freedom of speech, writing and action, though often trivial in isolation, are cumulative in their effect and, unless checked, lead to a general disrespect for the rights of the citizen. -George Orwell

THREE MARTINI LUNCH: APRIL 17, 2014

National Review's Eliana Johnson joins Greg Corombos to discuss Howard Dean urging Dems to run on ObamaCare, evidence that Lois Lerner communicated with the Justice Dept. about punishing Conservative groups, and Anthony Weiner claiming it's none of our business if he's still sexting.

A New, More Sinister IRS Scandal
Larry Noble, a law professor now with the Soros-funded Campaign Legal Center, was cited in the emails as someone agitating to jail conservatives who "falsely" report on IRS forms that they are not engaged in political speech. Lerner talked about setting up meetings with Justice Department election lawyers who wanted to talk about making Noble's dreams a reality - this after Senator Sheldon Whitehouse raised the idea of criminal charges for conservatives who are not sufficiently quiet, charges that they falsely completed an IRS tax exemption form.
Their theory is a favorite among speech regulators in the Soros-funded left and academia. It goes like this: "Too much speech is bad (unless unions do it.) Groups who talk about things leftists find uncomfortable are necessarily political and thus should never have 501(c) tax exempt status. Criminally charge any group that said on their IRS tax exempt form that they were not political if they say things the left finds uncomfortable. Get Eric Holder’s Justice Department on the case."
The emails obtained by Judicial Watch reveal this is essentially what was going on behind the scenes at the IRS, DOJ, and with outside leftist interests.

LAST STOP FOR ANTHONY WEINER'S CRAZY TRAIN

Jackass supernova: Weiner and Lawrence O'Donnell battle for nearly 15 minutes
They're well matched. One's an obnoxious hard-left attention-seeker whom nobody likes, and the other's Anthony Weiner.
Fifteen minutes is a lot to ask but trust me when I tell you that the second clip's more enjoyable than the first. This is the most entertaining vid you'll watch online today — with the possible exception of Weiner's concession speech, which should go live sometime around 9 p.m. ET and which, with nothing left to lose, may finally see him drop all pretenses of candidate decorum. (Fingers crossed!) Ace thinks Scary Larry's belligerence is being driven by Democratic servility to the Clintons, with O'Donnell doing his part to neutralize an "unhelpful" storyline regarding Her Majesty's star aide before 2016. I don't know. If you're going to ceremonially banish a guy from public life, logically you'd want the banisher to be less of an insufferable jackhole than the banishee. Right? To get the audience to condone ritual shaming, you need them to identify with the shamer. Watch the clips and tell me: By the time this car crash is over, is there anyone who doesn’t like Weiner more than O'Donnell?
Even worse is that Weiner, because he's quick on his feet and unpredictable, is better on TV than Larry is. Coming soon to MSNBC: "The Last Word with Anthony Weiner"?

RED EYE - AUGUST 2, 2013 FULL EPISODE

A Revealing Hour in Harlem With...Anthony Weiner?
It was just a few minutes into Anthony Weiner's door-to-door canvass of a Harlem public housing complex Thursday night, and the New York City mayoral candidate was already agitated.
As he scanned his staff-prepared list of apartment numbers and corresponding residents' names, the candidate shook his head in disapproval.
"This is no good, the way you have this organized," he said to one of two young, female aides who were accompanying him. "This is N.G. -- not great."
A few minutes later, Weiner remained fixated on the quality of his staff's advance work, voicing his displeasure in full earshot of the large media contingent in tow.
"Boy, oh boy," he said as another young woman from his campaign team stood beside him, shifting through her own notes in uncomfortable silence. “This is not as organized as I would've liked."
Is this curtains for our fearless digital flasher?  Allahpundit has speculated that Weiner's reason for staying in the race was clear the decks for a more serious run at the mayoralty in 2017.  But now it seems even that forlorn hope is fading fast.
What you're seeing here, I think, is this guy grappling with the reality that he's not going to be viable in 2017 either. He was willing to lose this time around on the theory that it would help him long-term; even if more sexting stuff came out and sank him, it'd be old news by the time he made his "real" run for mayor in four years. But that blew up on him. The fact that he was sexting even after leaving Congress combined with the Sydney Leathers circus in the media has turned him into a fatally flawed, fatally ridiculous figure. He'd have been better off skipping a run this time, spending the next four or eight years following John Profumo's example and working hard at charity, then trying to run for office again. Dredging up old dirty laundry about sexting at that point would seem nasty, an attempt to impugn a changed man. As it is, the fact that his ambition drove him to run before he'd made any credible try at rehabilitation just made him look sleazier, a careerist pol whose ambition wouldn't tolerate even the pretense of remorse. I doubt he'll ever shake that rep now, and I think he doubts it too. Why not have a lark with the media before they go away forever?

Obama Activist Sydney Leathers: The Best, Only, and Last Interview With Anthony Weiner's Sext Buddy You Should Ever Read
How old is your brother?
I think Jason's like - this is horrible of me - I want to say 28. He's the closest in age out of all of my siblings.
If I were a certain kind of older brother in this situation, I'd maybe want to kick some ass. Does Jason have the taste for Weiner blood in his mouth right now?
Actually, no. Both of my brothers have always been very protective of me, but they also know that I can definitely handle myself in any situation. They've seen that I've handled all of this pretty well and they're like, "You're an adult. Make your own decisions. Do what makes you happy."
Back to what you do for a living. Let's say I'm your boyfriend's father. Then how do you answer that question?
Oh my god. See, that's terrible. I have no idea.
Have you thought about that?
I haven't. I've been single for a while, too, so I guess that's probably part of the reason. I really have no idea.

Anthony Weiner's Sexting Partner Sydney Leathers Reveals Her 10 Secrets For Seducing a Politician
I know a lot of people judge me (shout-out to MSNBC's Thomas Roberts who went on air and called me "batshit crazy"), but I don't think it is their right to judge -- just as it is not my right to judge them. We all have what we want to do in life and what our own personal standards are.
Why does having a sexting affair with a married man or even doing porn make someone a "bad person"? Give me a break. I'm not a war criminal. I'm a human being who has made certain choices, some of which involve my sexuality.
Yes, I've made thousands of dollars from sugar daddies.
So?

RED EYE - JULY 25, 2013 FULL EPISODE

Bill and Hillary Clinton are 'livid' at comparisons to Weiner's sexcapades and Huma's forgiveness
Weiner and his campaign aides have explicitly referred to the Clintons as they privately seek to convince skeptical Democrats that voters can back Weiner despite his online sexual antics - just as they supported then-President Bill Clinton in the face of repeated allegations of marital betrayals.
"The Clintons are pissed off that Weiner's campaign is saying that Huma is just like Hillary," said the source. "How dare they compare Huma with Hillary? Hillary was the first lady. Hillary was a senator. She was secretary of state."
A longtime Hillary aide and Clinton friend, Abedin's surprisingly unequivocal support of her husband after his bombshell admission Tuesday that he engaged in salacious online sexting well after he resigned in disgrace from Congress in 2011 left the Clintons stunned, continued the source.
