THE NARRATIVE AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS

Threats to freedom of speech, writing and action, though often trivial in isolation, are cumulative in their effect and, unless checked, lead to a general disrespect for the rights of the citizen. -George Orwell

SMALL GOVERNMENT & FREE ENTERPRISE

This Is No Ordinary Scandal
Political abuse of the IRS threatens the basic integrity of our government.

We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they're seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don't look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone.
Something big has shifted. The standing of the administration has changed.
As always it comes down to trust. Do you trust the president's answers when he's pressed on an uncomfortable story? Do you trust his people to be sober and fair-minded as they go about their work? Do you trust the IRS and the Justice Department?

  1. Here's my rhetorical questions answering the questions posed:

Do you trust the president's answers when he's pressed on an uncomfortable story?
    - When confronted by a tiger, is he thinking about my health?

Do you trust his people to be sober and fair-minded as they go about their work?
    - Would I let a drunk perform surgery on me?

Do you trust the IRS and the Justice Department?
    - How far can you throw an elephant?

Obama and his minions, with the full support of the Obama Media Group have made the intentional choice to NOT be the President for ALL Americans. They choose to wage war against all who dare question or disparage him or his actions/non-actions by any means available; whether that be legal, illegal, slander, lies, demagoguery, intimidation, Chicago-style political thuggery and so on. If the establishment press were to be brutality honest with themselves, they would have to conclude that what is being uncovered now is far, far worse than Watergate. However, NOTHING will ever be worse than Watergate to them because that brought down a Republican administration and is their Holy Grail of scandals.
