EWTN THE WORLD OVER - SEPTEMBER 4, 2014

In this week's EWTN The World Over, Raymond Arroyo reviews the headline news of the week, plus:

Raymond is joined by Lt. Colonel Allen B. West, former U.S. Congressman from Florida, Dr. Walid Phares, adviser to the Anti-Terrorism Caucus of the House of Representatives, and David Lazar, chairman of the American Mesopotamian Organization to discuss the continuing rise of the terrorist organization ISIS in Iraq and Syria.  Phares and Lazar are also calling for an internationally protected haven for persecuted Christians in northern Iraq.

Plus, Kate DiCamillo, Newberry Medal-winning children's author, talks to Raymond about her life and career in children's literature, the importance of reading and storytelling in a child's development, and also her latest book, Leroy Ninker Saddles Up: Tales from Deckawoo Drive, from Candlewick Press.
