WHEN REAGAN SPOKE AT THE BERLIN WALL

On June 12, 1987, President Ronald Reagan stood before the Berlin Wall, symbol of an atheistic, totalitarian empire that robbed millions of basic human dignity and freedom, and delivered one of the great speeches of the 20th century. 1. I don't know if we'll ever have another like Ronald Reagan. Listening to these words makes one realize how much (and what I still believe) a large part of America is thirsty for and would rally around the person who would stand atop a wall of granite, call a spade a spade and pronounce "It's Morning in America!" once again. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" now and forever gives me goosebumps and swells me with American pride.
