While looking for another story, this one caught my eye when I noticed the headline: Nebraska Catholic school 'praying' after former student masturbates with crucifix
A Catholic school in Nebraska says it is praying for a former student who returned to campus to take nude photos and masturbate with a crucifix.
Valerie Dodds, 19, told KETV that she started a nude photography business after graduating from Lincoln East High School. But she said some her classmates from her former school, St. Pius X High School, started "saying mean things and that's when I decided to go there and show them that I'm here to stay."
"Everyone at my high school had something rude to say to me when I started my website and so this is my tribute to all of you lol," Dodds writes on her website. "I held nothing back I used my fingers, my toys and even my crucifix in my pussy! I used every part of the school I could get into, payback is a bitch ha ha."Wow. That's hysterical...
The KETV story refers to her "nude photograph business." By which they mean she started her own porn site. Why?
"It looked like something that I just kind of wanted to try, I guess."When you watch the video of the news report you will see the scumbag who is largely responsible for this nonsense. He's been down this road before.
For the record, I'm not judging her at all. I'm actually a little surprised that I'm not more outraged by her method of "revenge" on the school. It's more of a sad feeling. I hate to think of what may have happened in her life that would make this seem like an attractive option.
I'm sure she feels empowered by what she's doing. And the truth is that there are some superficial, short-term benefits to the porn business. There's money to be made and some people just have a compulsion to exhibit themselves like this. Ultimately, however, the potential for self-destruction far outweighs the chances of this ending well for her. It could go either way. Time will tell.
In the meantime, she seems so happy and pleased with herself that it would be downright cruel to burst her bubble by letting her know that the school and the Church will be just fine. Hopefully she will be as well.
The reason you're not outraged by Val's "antics" (neither am I btw) is due to our coarsening culture in America which is leading to a decline in ethical and moral standards. I'm not at all implying that your and my standards are weak but we are numbed because of the constant drumbeat of these kind of stories, given life and a *wink* from the media. I really do feel sad for Val and pray that one day soon she has an awakening and realizes the dark path she has chosen.
