We are at a legitimate crossroads. I believe the strong elective trend of conservative, 'tea party' members of congress that began in 2010 and was only thwarted in 2012 by IRS intimidation WILL become a tidal wave in 2014. Led by the likes of 'newbies' like Ted Cruz (the 2016 GOP Presidential nominee imo), the old moderate 'reach across the aisle' brigade of McCain, Graham, etc. will become obsolete sooner rather than later. Breaking to a 3rd Party at this point guarantees liberal government for the generations to come.
